FORTUNA LEAGUE

Our Challenge
Since 2018, Fortuna a.s. has been a major official partner of the 1st and 2nd Czech professional football league. Based on this, all sides involved (including STES, FAČR and LFA) agreed on creating a new football league identity including logo improvements, new supporting TV spots, replay jingles and match and studio motion graphics. Both the 1st and 2nd football leagues were transformed into FORTUNA: LEAGUE and FORTUNA: NATIONAL LEAGUE. New game standards, such as a video referee, were about to appear in upcoming tournaments.


Our Approach
Designing the Fortuna’s new visual identity started with a complex research of all possible visual and narrative approaches. We wanted to embrace not only the visual qualities, but also to share true feelings from real matches with fans watching their favourite football studio. With that in mind, after creating scripts, we prepared full storyboards and concept arts to explain all the ideas more thoroughly. Following Fortuna's new identity, we moved from the original dark theme to the current yellow look. 


Final Result
We managed to deliver 4 TV commercials, 6 TV jingles and over 100 TV graphics in 4 months only. Besides this, we also supervised the deployment of our graphics for live broadcasting in production trucks across the Czech Republic.

We are proud to be a part of the Czech football community and have our spots in the biggest Czech TVs - O2 TV Sport and CT4 Sport - for 4 years.
